Abstract

The field of digital cultural art design is increasingly driven by technological progress, forming a unique expression form that blends virtuality and reality. From a philosophical perspective, this article explores the application and embodiment of the ancient and profound philosophical thought of "virtuality and reality" in digital cultural art design. By analyzing the origin of the philosophy of "virtuality and reality" in ancient Chinese thought and its comparison in Western philosophy, combined with the creative practice of digital art, this article reveals the manifestation of the philosophical opposition and unity of virtuality and reality, form and content, finite and infinite in digital art creation. In particular, with the development of technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligence (AI), digital art design is increasingly showing the characteristics of transcending time and space and combining virtuality and reality. This article deeply explores how to use the philosophical thought of "virtuality and reality" to construct the expression system in digital cultural art, pointing out that the art design combining virtuality and reality is not only a technical means, but also a manifestation of modern cultural philosophy, and provides a new thinking mode for artistic creation.
